Evening session was on the cards, although high tide at 8pm means nasty shorebreak, but potential outweighed obvious danger. Forecasted swing to the west was happening so headed to Lancing and scored one of my best sessions of the year. 5:30pm launch on 4m Ezzy again. Shorebreak starting to get scarey, but certainly no shortage of wind power to punch out. The biggest fear while stood knee deep was the thought of getting pitched over the front by the wind, carnage would have ensued. Committed to a \'gap\' and clean away. Still full power, these last few days have been unbelievable. Swell was stacking up with 6-8 feet faces almost straight away. Gybed and straight down the line. Wind perfect cross shore by now. Every run out and back was rewarded by a decent wave ride of some sort: small steep ones, large slopey ones, large critical ones. With that much sail power you could make section after section at warp speed. On some waves travelled 4 or 5 groyne widths. Sounds good, but tempered by being quite challenging, especially with no beach or shallows to step foot on!! Packed up after 1.5 hours non-stop. Solo.
